In 2025, Web3 Institute established integrated service architecture across three operational areas, connecting education to employment opportunities, research to market validation, and building organizational coherence through strategic partnerships.
Talent Pipeline
Internship Program
Executed 2 cohorts (H1 and H2) matching Web3 learners to employment opportunities across 50+ students from 10+ universities (primarily Kyiv, Odesa, and Lviv Polytechnic). 24+ organizations participated, resulting in 30+ student-company matches with UAHg, LTV Protocol and Privado ID among others. Several participants converted internships into full employment.
Program initially developer-focused but received applications across management, UX/UI, finance, and other domains. Established bi-annual cohort rhythm aligned to academic terms.
Thanks to our funder – Ethereum Foundation ecosystem support program and event partners: DeJob from UAHg and Futureproof Job Fest from Solus Group.
DAO Initiation
Launched community funding mechanism on Gardens platform, enabling participants to propose and vote on small-scale projects advancing Web3 education, tools, and adoption. Distributed 3 grants:
- Student competition at Grinchenko DeFi Lab
- Local hackathon support with Ukrainian Students for Freedom
- Ukraine Ecovillage Network – ReFi research and education
Typical grant size: $250. Over 17 community members granted voting access, including developers, partners, and community organizers. Participants onboarded via Discord with support for tech setup, DAO mechanics, and proposal preparation.
Funded by Celo, Glo Dollar, Gardens, and community contributions.
Research & Development
Web3 Impact Research
Initiated a research exploring how decentralized technologies can transform finance, agriculture, logistics, energy systems, healthcare and public services. Joined IEEE Industry Connection program to gather relevant use cases from industry. Study will conclude with policy brief and public presentation to support regulatory development and identify pilot opportunities.

DLT Forum: Rebuild
Hosted second Ukrainian DLT Forum on the theme of Ukraine’s Rebuild — practical ideas for Web3 supporting Ukraine's recovery and development. Thanks to our partners: IEEE, Incrypted, Ministry of Digital TransformationLinux Foundation, RadicalxChange, Stellar.
Public Union
2025 was not a growth year, rather a restructure year. We were strained on the resources, but our work did become more coherent, realistic, and better aligned with the actual mission. Whether this groundwork converts into growth depends on regulatory outcomes, market dynamics, and our capacity to translate expertise into partner-supported projects. Yet there’s a good number of web3 advocates and partners who continuously advance the space.
Looking forward – we’ll further develop our integrated pillars: Talent (scaling education-to-market pipelines), Research (completing sectoral study, holding annual conference and trial project incubation), and Union (ecosystem intelligence, partnership coordination, and contributor engagement). See 2026-2027: Future-Ready Digital Ukraine for more details.
