Dear partners, thanks for your continuous support, we’re happy to share the progress made in Q2 on various fronts of our work.
Basic course in blockchain and crypto literacy
We have been updating the basic course on crypto literacy with some improvements and a new big module on Web3 careers. It will feature content for 10 career tracks from developers to entrepreneurs where leading specialists in those fields will share their paths and tips. The course is being developed with support from the Solana Foundation, the Optimism community, our experts, and partners.
Moreover, we’re now exploring the opportunity with student hubs integration in the leading Ukrainian universities and researching global best practices for blockchain (and tech-focused) student clubs in the world – get in touch if you have any questions or ideas.
Web3 for Ukraine: Upgrading Public Services
We’re happy to present the new report that aims to broaden the understanding of the current applications of web3 in government initiatives in Ukraine. The report's primary objective is to provide decision-makers with information for the strategic integration of blockchain technologies in the government services sector.
It was extended through an expert discussion that happened this quarter with 50+ representatives from the government and private sector. This discussion helped to validate some assumptions as well as identify the relevant areas for piloting and interested experts.
Ecosystem Overview Workshop for Ukrainian Regulators
As a part of the course on virtual assets regulation organized by the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance and supported by the Swiss government, we have prepared a workshop on the Ukrainian ecosystem overview. The audience of the workshop included around 20 representatives from the Securities Commission, National Bank, FIU, and Ministry for the Digital Transformation of Ukraine. The presentations from our experts touched on business and consumer outlook with some discussions and suggestions for the future research direction.
DLT Forum
We’re happy to announce that the annual virtual conference DLT Forum Ukraine will happen on Dec 5-6. The call for papers as well as speaker applications is open. Topics will include innovative cross-domain studies, research, early deployment, and large-scale pilot projects that address the challenges of blockchain while identifying and investigating the spectrum of future possibilities for blockchain/DLT networks.
As a part of the forum and in continuation of our Plurality Book Translation we’re looking to do a track on “Digital Democracy”. It should collect the most advanced ideas in the use of technology in the spheres of recovery, funding, and governance practices.
Thanks again for your support, Web3 Institute team.
